In April 2005 under the initiative of the hotel “Yuzhnaya” the managing board of the Russian Hotel Association made a decision to create its branch in Volgograd. The hotel “Yuzhnaya” became the coordinating body of Volgograd regional hotel association (VRHA). VRHA unites 15 best companies of the hotel industry in Volgograd region.

It is very important factor to consolidated forces in the hotel industry. The activities of the branch include all issues which are urgent and significant for all hoteliers of the region, such as training and advanced training of the personnel, organization of conferences, consulting assistance to the hotels in respect to the classification and others.

The hotels – members of VRHA monthly communicate with each other by this way they inform the number of rooms, hotel occupancy, average room prices.

The consolidation of the hotel specialists means more effective cooperation in solving of urgent problems, it increases the prestige and stimulates development of the regional hotel industry. Russian Association of Authors cancelled all fees for public performance of music and phonograms in the premises of hotels due to active assistance of Russian Hotel Association.

All necessary information related to conditions for entering the association, its main activities and privileges as well as the application form are available for the hotels which are not members of RHA.
